How long does IQOS take to charge?

To charge IQOS, you will need to use the official IQOS USB Cable and supplied AC power adaptor. Charging time may depend on several factors such as: use, configuration of the device, lifetime of the battery, and weather conditions.

IQOS ILUMA

It takes approximately 135 minutes under ambient conditions to fully charge the original IQOS ILUMA Pocket Charger from an electrical outlet when using the power adaptor.

You can charge the IQOS ILUMA Pocket Charger with or without the Holder inserted. It can take up to 10 minutes to fully charge the Holder for the first time (after opening the packaging) or after a long period of inactivity. This is normal.

The IQOS ILUMA Pocket Charger does not require a full charge to work, however we recommend to fully charge it before the first use.

For safe use, charge your IQOS ILUMA device using the Power Adaptor and Charging Cable that comes with your device.

IQOS ILUMA Holder recharge time: The same as IQOS 3 DUO

• Average 1 minute 50 seconds for charging from 0-1 Use*
• Average 3 minute 25 seconds for charging from 1-2 Use*
• Average 5 minute 15 seconds for charging from 0-2 Use*
• Average 10 minute 05 seconds for full charging first time (after opening the packaging)

At least 2 minute 20 seconds faster than charging the Holder of IQOS 2.4 Plus* and at least 1 minute 40 seconds faster than charging the Holder of IQOS 3*

IQOS Originals DUO: Approximately 120 minutes to fully charge.

IQOS Originals ONE: Approximately 90 minutes.

BONDS by IQOS

It takes approximately 180 minutes to fully charge the BONDS by IQOS device from an electrical outlet when using the supplied AC Power Adaptor.

Previous IQOS Generations

IQOS 3 DUO: It takes approximately 120 minutes to fully charge the Charger.

IQOS 3 MULTI: It takes approximately 75 minutes to fully charge the device using the official IQOS AC power adaptor and USB cable.

IQOS 2.4 PLUS: It takes approximately 120 minutes to fully charge the Pocket Charger. The Holder can be charged up to 20 times with a fully charged IQOS Pocket Charger. Only charge the device using the USB and AC power adaptor that have been provided with the device.
