Get to know your IQOS Originals DUO / 3 DUO
Follow the below steps to learn the key features on your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO.
- Tap the button on your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO Pocket Charger to check your battery level. If it’s low, plug your device into a power outlet using an IQOS AC adaptor and cable.
- Press the button at the top of your Pocket Charger for four seconds to turn it on. Then check the status lights on your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO Holder to see its battery level. Two lights mean it’s fully charged (ready for two uses). One light means it’s ready for one use. No lights mean no power and it’s time to recharge the Holder.
- Gently insert a HEETS™ stick, without twisting, into your Holder. Then press and hold the holder button. One vibration and lights pulsing slowly means it’s getting ready. Two vibrations and both status lights on mean it's ready to use.
- When you feel another two vibrations, your IQOS time is nearly up. The lights will start to pulse when two more puffs or 30 seconds are remaining. Once finished, slide open the Holder, remove the HEETS™ stick, and slide the Holder shut then tap the Holder button to see its status. Remember that one light means you only have one use left, so you'll need to put back into the Pocket Charger after next time.
- When your Holder is in the Pocket Charger, flashing lights mean its charging. When both lights are on and stay on, your Holder is ready to take out.

How to use your IQOS ORIGINALS
DUO / 3 DUO
Start your first experience with your IQOS
ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO.
- Take out the fully charged IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO holder out of your pocket charger.
- Insert a HEETS™ tobacco stick gently into the holder. Insert the tobacco end first and stop at the silver line of the tobacco stick. Refrain from pulling the holder cap and twisting the HEETS™ stick.
- Press the holder button until it vibrates. Holder lights will start pulsing to prepare the experience. Wait until you feel two vibrations and the holder lights become stationary.
- You are ready to go! Remember, one experience will be up to 14 puffs or 6 minutes, whichever comes first. The holder will vibrate, and the lights will start to pulse when two more puffs or 30 seconds are remaining.
- Once finished, pull up the holder cap and remove the tobacco stick. Remember always to pull up the holder cap first.
- Slide down the holder cap back. Press and release briefly the holder button to see the remaining experience. 1 light means 1 remaining experience, and no light means the holder should be charged.

How to charge your IQOS ORIGINALS
DUO / 3 DUO
Keep your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO fully charged for up to 20 moments.
- Tap the button on your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO Pocket Charger button to check the battery level. A flashing light at the top means the battery’s low and you'll need to plug the Pocket Charger into a power outlet using an IQOS AC adaptor and cable. A flashing light means the battery’s now charging. When the status bar is full, your device is fully charged and good for up to 20 uses*
*Depending on usage. - Check the status lights on your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO Holder. Two lights mean your Holder's fully charged and ready for two uses. One light means you only have one use left. No lights means there’s no battery power and it’s time to recharge.
- Slide open your Holder, remove the HEETS™ stick, slide the Holder shut and insert the Holder into the Pocket Charger. If two small lights start flashing on the top of the Pocket Charger, your Holder is charging. When they stop flashing, your Holder is good and ready to use.

How to clean your IQOS ORIGINALS
DUO / 3 DUO
Clean your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO for the best possible tobacco experience.
- Wait for your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO Holder to cool down then slide the cap off.
- Tap out any loose tobacco from inside your Holder then insert the cleaning tool. Once in, gently twist two or three times before carefully removing it.
- Clean your device as often as you can. Remember to avoid the blade, and don’t forget to clean the cap top to bottom too. A cleaner device makes for a better taste experience. It’s as simple as that.

How to reset your IQOS ORIGINALS
DUO / 3 DUO
Reset your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO if it is charged but not working.
- Press the charger button until the lights fade, then release the button.
- All status lights will turn off, flash twice, then slowly reappear, to tell you the reset was successful.

Clean the contacts.
Clean the contacts between your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO holder and the pocket charger regularly with the cleaning sticks. This will help the holder to be charged faster for your next experience.
Clean the cap regularly
Change the cap of IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO holder every 6 months with a new one. This will help you to keep the optimal heated tobacco experience that you like.

Firmware upgrade
Update the firmware of your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO / 3 DUO regularly. Updating its firmware will help you to maintain the device performance and improve your experience. To do this, go to “My Account”, and click “Manage Device” in the “My Device” section.
