Performance Mode and Eco Mode: Do You Know the Difference of FlexBattery Feature on IQOS ILUMA i?
IQOS ILUMA i offers a new approach to enjoying tobacco with the FlexBattery feature for a more flexible or customizable experience to suit your usage pattern.
The FlexBattery feature on the IQOS ILUMA i device allows you to choose between two different battery modes, Performance Mode and Eco Mode. By activating Eco Mode, you can maximize your Holder’s battery life to extend the battery life of your Holder for up to one year*, or with Performance Mode to get up to 3 consecutive uses**.
*Only when fully used on Eco Mode throughout the lifespan of the holder and may vary depending on personal consumption.
**Only available in Performance Mode when Pause is not activated.
Both Performance Mode and Eco Mode prioritize comfort and usability for a more customized experience to the preferences of adult users of the IQOS ILUMA i device.
Performance Mode
The IQOS ILUMA i device comes with a default setting called Performance Mode to regulate the amount of use.
- In this mode, you have 2 consecutive uses of up to 6 minutes each with 1 pause for one of the uses, or
- Up to 3 consecutive uses of up to 6 minutes each without a pause.
Note: The Touch Screen will not show the 3rd available experience. After the 2nd experience, the Touch Screen will show one more available experience (a single dash). When there are no more experiences available, the Touch Screen will show the number “0”.
Eco Mode
You can extend the battery life of the Holder up to one year (only if you fully use Eco Mode for the entire lifetime of the Holder and may vary depending on your personal consumption).
In this mode, your Holder will be set for only one use, lasting up to 6 minutes. Pause Mode is not available for this mode. You can set Eco Mode via the IQOS Web App.
