What Should I Do If There Is an Issue with the IQOS ILUMA i™ Touch Screen?
If you experience difficulties using the Touch Screen, check the following:
- You are not using gloves
- Your fingers are clean and dry
- The Touch Screen is not broken or cracked
- The Touch Screen is clean and dry
If there are no lights on the Touch Screen, check if:
- Your Holder is ON
- Your Holder is charged
- Your Holder has not been damaged
If there are lights on the Touch Screen, perform a reset.
Can the Touch Screen be accidentally activated if it touches other items (ex: Holder is in the bag/pocket and is in contact with other items)?
When you store the Holder in a bag or pocket and it comes into contact with other objects, the Touch Screen may be accidentally activated.
The Touch Screen is sensitive to conductive materials, these materials can activate the Touch Screen as if touched by a finger. To avoid this issue, always store the Holder in the Pocket Charger.
What should I do if I have trouble activating/deactivating Pause Mode on the Touch Screen?
Pause Mode is only available in 1 out of 2 consecutive experiences in Performance Mode, ensure that Pause Mode is available when you tried to activate it.
Ensure you swipe lightly with your fingertip along the entire Touch Screen, edge to edge:
- From top of the Touch Screen to the bottom to activate the pause
- From bottom of the Touch Screen to deactivate the pause/start experience (swipe up)
Make sure that the swipe gesture is quick (a movement slower than 0.5 seconds is not recognized as a swipe gesture).
If swiping does not work when holding a device in one hand and using a thumb, try holding a device in one hand and using index finger from another hand for swiping gesture.
