Unboxing ILUMA i ONE: How to Use It?

The ILUMA i ONE is the latest tobacco heating device in the ILUMA i series, combining innovation and practicality with an all-in-one design. This latest device from IQOS also has new features like FlexPuff and AutoStart/AutoStop for a more flexible experience.

What Will You Find Inside the ILUMA i ONE Box?

Each ILUMA i ONE box comes with a charging cable. When fully charged, the ILUMA i ONE can be used to heat 20 TEREA tobacco sticks in a row. 

With SMARCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM technology, this latest tobacco heating device in the ILUMA i series heats TEREA tobacco sticks instead of burning them, producing vapor (aerosol) instead of smoke. Besides being smoke-free, the ILUMA i ONE also produces no ash, no stains, and produces fewer odors that disturb the surrounding environment. 

ILUMA i ONE produces 95% lower levels of harmful chemicals compared to cigarette smoke.* 

Important information: This does not necessarily equal a 95% reduction in risk. ILUMA i ONE is not risk-free.

How to Use the ILUMA i ONE for the First Time?

Here's how to use the ILUMA i ONE and TEREA tobacco sticks. 

  1. Before starting your tobacco experience with the ILUMA i ONE, make sure your device is fully charged. Your device takes 90 minutes to fully charge. 
  2. Turn on the device: Press and hold the button for 4 seconds. You will see the status light slowly flash. 
  3. Open the cap: Slide the cap on your device before inserting the TEREA tobacco stick. 
  4. Insert the TEREA tobacco stick up to the filter line until the device vibrates and the light flashes. Heating will start automatically or press the button for one second.

During the Experience: 

  1. You can start the experience when the device vibrates, and the status light is fully lit. 
  2. While using the ILUMA i ONE, the status light will indicate the remaining time. This allows you to enjoy your tobacco experience without having to guess when your time is up. 
  3. When the experience is about to end, your device will vibrate once and the status light will flash, indicating that you have 30 seconds or 2 puffs remaining. 

Ending the Experience 

  1. Remove the TEREA tobacco stick and discard it in the trash. 
  2. Reseal the cap on your device. 

Make sure you've registered or linked your ILUMA i ONE device with your IQOS account and set up your device in the IQOS WebApp for an experience tailored to your preferences. You can also activate your 1-year ILUMA i ONE after connecting the device.
