Understanding the FlexBattery Feature

The FlexBattery in the IQOS ILUMA i allows adult users to choose from two distinct modes: Performance Mode and Eco Mode. These modes enhance the user experience by offering flexibility and catering to different preferences. It allows users to customize their sessions, ensuring they can adapt their experience according to their preferences.

Eco Mode extends the holder battery lifespan by up to one year, however, only when fully used on Eco Mode throughout the lifespan of the holder and may vary depending on personal consumption. Both modes prioritize convenience and usability, contributing to a more enjoyable and tailored experience for adult users of the IQOS ILUMA i device.

Performance Mode

IQOS ILUMA i devices come with a default setting called Performance Mode, which enables users to have either up to 3 consecutive sessions each lasting up to six minutes without pause, or 2 consecutive uses each lasting up to six minutes with the pause for one of them.

After completing the 2nd session, the screen will display 1 more session with a dash. Once all available sessions are finished, the screen will indicate '0', signaling sessions are complete.

Eco Mode

In contrast to the default Performance Mode, Eco Mode offers a different approach. It's designed for one up to 6-minute session at a time and prolongs holder battery lifespan by up to one year, when fully used on Eco Mode throughout the lifespan of the holder and may vary depending on personal consumption.

Using the Eco Mode on the IQOS ILUMA device offers several benefits, making it an excellent choice for those adult users seeking higher value for money. By increasing the lifespan of the Holder battery consumers can use their holder for longer.

Embracing Pause Mode

The Pause Mode is a new feature designed to allow adult users to pause their experience for up to 8 minutes and resume it*. If the experience is not resumed within 8 minutes, the holder will autonomously switch off, ending the session.

*Only available in Performance Mode, during the first 3 minutes or 8 puffs of the experience. When pause is activated, Performance Mode gives you up to two consecutive experiences and pause is available only for one of them.

Changing How Users Interact with FlexPuff

The introduction of FlexPuff brings a new level of user interaction, changing the heated tobacco experience by adjusting to how you puff. With its adaptive technology, FlexPuff may provide you 4 extra puffs**.

**FlexPuff activation and number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns, thus extra puffs might not apply to all adult consumers and/or experiences. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used.

Seamlessly Activating FlexPuff

Adult users can turn FlexPuff on and off using the IQOS WebApp. The system autonomously adapts by analysing individual usage patterns and providing a customized experience.

FlexPuff

FlexPuff is a feature available in all devices from the IQOS ILUMA i range. When the FlexPuff feature is active, the device will analyze whether the TEREA stick has been fully consumed as the experience comes to an end. This action occurs automatically, meaning no action is required from you. If the TEREA stick is not fully consumed, it may provide 4 extra puffs*, so you can enjoy the moment for longer. With this feature, FlexPuff provides a more customized and flexible experience than before.

*FlexPuff is designed to work with tobacco sticks. Activation and the number of puffs depends on individual usage patterns, thus extra puffs might not apply to all adult consumers and/or experiences. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used.

Pause Mode

With the Pause Mode feature, adult users can pause their experience for up to 8 minutes and resume it*. The Pause Mode feature provides adult users the flexibility to enjoy the experience at their own pace. This feature is particularly useful for those adult users who would like to have the convenience of pausing and resuming their experience.

Autostart/Autostop

Autostart and Autostop are features available in older generations of the IQOS ILUMA range as well as the IQOS ILUMA i. Autostart means that when a TEREA stick is inserted into the IQOS ILUMA i, preheating will start automatically. Autostop means that if the TEREA stick is removed from the IQOS ILUMA i Holder, the experience will stop.
