Terms and Conditions for VEEV Takeback Program

Application of Terms

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are applicable to and govern your participation in the VEEV Device Takeback.

You should read these Terms carefully as they affect your legal rights and govern your relationship with Philip Morris Misr L.L.C. (“We”, “Our” or “PMM”).

By participating in the VEEV Device Takeback Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree or cannot comply with these Terms, then you are not permitted to participate in the VEEV Device Takeback Program.

No modification of these Terms by you is permitted, unless we expressly agree to such modification in writing.

We also reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions, suspend or terminate the VEEV Device Takeback Program along with any privileges or rewarding mechanics at any time and at our sole discretion without prior notice and without liability.

 

Eligibility for VEEV Take Back

The VEEV Take Back Program allows eligible participants (“Participant”)

to return their used VEEV Now Ultra devices to a designated store or one of our IQOS partners for disposal in accordance with applicable processes.

To be eligible, you have to be (i) a resident of Egypt, (ii)a registered user in our database, and (iii) of the legal smoking age in Egypt at the time of participation.

We reserve the right to request proof of age, identity or registration at any time and to refuse participation where eligibility cannot be verified.

 

Program Mechanics

VEEV Now Ultra users are eligible for one (1) voucher for every three (3) eligible VEEV Now Ultra devices they bring back to our IQOS stores or authorized partners to be recycled, subject to availability and compliance with these Terms.

The voucher value is determined by PMM and is subject to change at any point at our discretion and shall be the value applicable at the time of issuance.

The voucher is digital and is sent to the VEEV Now Ultra user’s registered email within 48 hours of return of completion, subject to operational, technical or system delays. VEEV Now Ultra users cannot ask for the voucher in physical form. They also cannot request that the digital voucher be sent to any email address other than the email registered on their account.

Vouchers have no cash value, are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and may not be resold.

PMM reserves the right to deny the issuance of any voucher to any VEEV Now Ultra user who is suspected of abusing the VEEV Take Back program or any other PMI-related programs and its determination in this regard shall be final and binding.

 

Returned Devices

By returning any device under the Program, the Participant irrevocably transfers full ownership of the returned device to PMM.

Returned devices will not be returned to the Participant under any circumstances, and we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether any returned device qualifies as eligible under the Program.

We make no representation or warranty regarding the recycling or disposal process and assume no liability in relation thereto.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PMM shall not be liable for any losses arising from participation in the Program and any liability shall be limited to value of the voucher issued.

 

Laws & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Arab Republic of Egypt. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt for disputes arising from or related to these Terms.
