CIRCULAR PROGRAMME
The program is totally free.
On the contrary, you will be able to unlock levels of the Device Circular Hero badge for devices you bring back to us to be recycled and levels of the Consumables Circular Hero badge for your used HEETS/TEREA bags.
Device Circular Programme enables you to return your old IQOS devices whether they're functioning or not so that we can recycle them. It is a free and easy way to return the devices you no longer use.
We will make sure the recyclable components are recycled to reduce unnecessary waste, including plastic and electronic waste. For the components that are non-recyclable, we make sure they're disposed of safely in a way that reduces negative environmental impact.
You can bring your used IQOS™ device(s) to any of our IQOS Stores and inform any of our sales experts that you would like to return your old device for recycling. They will take care of the rest.
You can return any model of IQOS devices.
We currently do not recycle packaging materials. Please, dispose the device packaging responsibly, as per local regulations.
You can return any component of the device to be recycled. However, to be able to unlock Device Circular Hero badge levels, you will need to return a full device if the device is composed of 2 components (a pocket charger + a holder) for example: IQOS ILUMA PRIME, IQOS ILUMA, IQOS ORIGINALS DUO, IQOS 3 DUO.
You can also return your old IQOS ORIGINALS ONE or IQOS ILUMA ONE and unlock levels of the Device Circular Hero badge.
After receiving your devices, we’ll ship them to one of our recycling hubs. The recyclable components like plastic, aluminum..etc are transformed back into raw materials. Non-recyclable components are disposed of safely in a way that reduces negative environmental impact.
Yes, you will be able to unlock Device Circular Hero badge levels when you return a full device (pocket charger + holder) or an IQOS ORIGINALS ONE or IQOS ILUMA ONE devices. You can unlock the badge up to 2 devices per year.
Consumables Circular Programme enables to reduce your environment footprint by conveniently returning used consumables so that we can recycle them.
All you need to do is to get a free collection bag online or in-store and fill it with your used sticks. Then, just drop it off at any IQOS store during your next visit. You will be able to unlock levels of the Consumables Circular Hero badge for bags drop-off.
Important note! You can mix various tobacco sticks (HEETS, TEREA) but not cigarettes or HEETS/TEREA packs.
You can collect and return TEREA sticks or HEETS. You can also mix various tobacco sticks (TEREA, HEETS) in the same collection bag.
Important Note: cigarette sticks and TEREA/HEETS packs are not part of this program.
You can return as many bags as you want at one time, just make sure you make use of the bags and return them full.

No. Returned consumables and the devices are processed differently. Therefore, please, return them separately.
Your used HEETS and TEREA sticks will be collected, cleaned, and disassembled by our recycling partner. Most of the components get to be transformed into compost and used as a fertilizer, except the filter. We are looking into the new ways to utilize the remaining components and once this process is finalized a prototype of the end product will be displayed in store.
Yes. If you’re enrolled in the IQOS CLUB, you will unlock levels of the Consumables Circular Hero badge for the bag of consumables you drop-off with a maximum of 50 bags in a year.
