IQOS x TALAIA’s Instagram Competition Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”)

 

1.    Competition participation eligibility

  • If you do not meet the requirements below, you are not eligible to participate in this competition.

    • This competition is intended for legal age IQOS users only, aged 18 years and above, who want to continue to consume tobacco products.
    • This competition is intended for existing IQOS users only. Legal age smokers and legal age users of other nicotine products are not eligible to participate or win.
    • This competition is intended for individuals legally residing in Egypt at the time of entry only.
    • This competition is intended for entrants, who by participating, confirm that they are aware of all applicable health warnings related to tobacco products.
    • This competition is not open to employees of Philip Morris Misr LLC (“PMM” ), its affiliates, partners, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors, who are prohibited from entering the competition and are not eligible to participate.
    • PMM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify the eligibility of any participant at any time and to disqualify any participant who does not meet the eligibility requirements.

2.    Competition Rules & Mechanics

  • The competition starts on the 4th of March 2026 and ends on the 13th of March 2026. Winners will be announced daily through social media and a direct call from the customer service team of IQOS Egypt. 
  • If a selected winner cannot be contacted within [twenty-four (24)] hours of notification or fails to comply with these T&Cs, PMM reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
  • For (10) days, a question will be posted every day on @eg.iqos on Instagram as a post. The first three (3) eligible participants to correctly answer the question of the day in accordance with these T&Cs shall be selected as winners.
  • The official time of entry shall be determined by the timestamp recorded by Instagram’s system. PMM’s determination of the timing and validity of entries shall be final and binding.
  • Participants to win must:
    1. Follow our official page @eg.iqos on instagram; and
    2. Like the competition post of the challenge.
  • The three (3) winners of the day will win the IQOSxTALAIA Box which includes:
    1. IQOS ILUMA PRIME Device (IQOSxTALAIA Edition); and
    2. IQOSxTALAIA Denim Jacket.
  • The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, has no cash alternative, and must be accepted as awarded. 
  • PMM reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to alter these T&Cs or to suspend or terminate the competition at any given time. No compensation shall be awarded to any participant in such cases. 
  • PMM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant. In the event a participant is disqualified from the competition, PMM may determine whether an alternative participant should be selected. In such case, the replacement participant shall be selected in accordance with the same selection criteria as the original participant and shall remain subject to these T&Cs.

3.    Data sharing and privacy

  • Participants will be required to provide detailed personal contact information for the purposes of administering the competition and awarding prizes.
  • PMM retains the right to request a copy of a valid national ID or other official identification documents for verification purposes.
  • By participating, entrants consent to the collection, processing and storage of their personal data for the purposes of administering the competition in accordance with PMI’s Data Privacy Notice [https://www.pmiprivacy.com/global/en/consumer/]. By entering the competition, participants hereby confirm that all information shared is true, current and complete.
  • PMM may use the contact information provided to communicate with the participants. PMM may also use the residential address provided for the delivery of prizes and any related documentation.
  • PMM reserves the right to use the participants names through publication, distribution, transmission, display and exhibition, in both internal and external company material, including, but not limited to, corporate brochures, the company’s website, social media channels and in-store visibility in Egypt and other markets worldwide. Any use of images shall be carried out in accordance with PMI’s Consumer Privacy Notice [https://www.pmiprivacy.com/global/en/consumer/.

4.    Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PMM shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury or liability of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the competition, the selection of winners or the acceptance, use or enjoyment of any prize.

PMM shall not be responsible for any technical issues, errors, interruptions, delays, omissions or other matters affecting the operation of the competition, regardless of cause.

PMM’s decisions in relation to all aspects of the competition shall be final and binding.

5.    Governing Law

These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising in connection with the competition shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo.
