Official Rules and Eligibility Criteria
Application of Terms:
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are applicable to govern your participation in IQOS ILUMA i Electric Dreams Purple competition. Please read these terms carefully as they affect your legal rights and govern your relationship with Philip Morris Misr and its affiliates (“We” or “Philip Morris Misr” or “IQOS Egypt”).
If you do not agree or cannot comply with these terms, you are not permitted to participate in the competition. No modification of these terms by you is permitted unless Philip Morris Misr expressly agrees in writing.
Participants may fall into different categories (IQOS users vs non-IQOS users), each subject to specific participation of mechanics and prize structures as described in these Terms.
ELECTRIC DREAMS FOR LEGAL AGE SMOKERS (NON IQOS USERS) – Campaign Participation Eligibility:
If you do not meet the requirements below, you are not eligible to participate in this campaign.
• This campaign is intended for individuals who have reached legal age as specified by local laws, which is 18 years and above, as of the date of entry and who want to continue to consume tobacco products.
• This campaign is intended for Egyptians, and foreign nationals legally residing in Egypt only.
• This campaign is intended for legal-age consumers only. Employees of Philip Morris Egypt, its affiliates, partners, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors are prohibited and are not eligible to participate.
• Only legal-age smokers who have registered in IQOS database and have agreed to receive marketing communication (Marketing Opt-In) are eligible to participate.
• This campaign is not open to pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
ELECTRIC DREAMS FOR LEGAL AGE SMOKERS (NON IQOS USERS) – Rules & Mechanics:
• The campaign is set to begin on the 4th of May of 2026 and end on the 15th of June of 2026
• The campaign allows legal-age smokers to engage in a raffle and win an electric dream that is either a functional prize or an experiential prize depending on availability. Details of prizes, including nature, approximate value and key conditions, will be disclosed in the campaign announcement materials.
• Philip Morris Misr does not in any way, shape or form influence the outcome of the raffle for individual legal-age smokers. Winners will be selected randomly through a documented and auditable process.
• No purchase of any product is required to participate or win the competition.
• Philip Morris Misr has the right to determine the number of winners for both the functional and experiential prizes prior to the beginning of the campaign.
• Every legal age smoker is eligible to receive only 1 prize across the entire campaign. The prize is determined by the outcome of their first trial at the raffle.
• Philip Morris Misr reserves the right to redirect legal-age smokers to receive their prizes from a different touchpoint from where the interaction with the consumer at the point of raffle entry is taking place.
• Philip Morris Misr reserves the right to alter the terms of the competition or terminate the competition at any given time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice. To the extent permitted by law, Philip Morris Misr shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation.
• Legal-age smokers are mandated to receive the prize themselves and cannot authorize another individual to receive the prizes on their behalf.
• Additional eligibility requirements may apply as specified by Philip Morris Misr in the competition announcement or related materials.
ELECTRIC DREAMS FOR LEGAL AGE USERS (IQOS USERS) - Competition Participation Eligibility:
If you do not meet the requirements below, you are not eligible to participate in this competition.
• This competition is intended for individuals who have reached the legal age as specified by local laws, which is 18 years and above, as of the date of entry and who want to continue to consume tobacco products.
• This competition is intended for Egyptians, and foreign nationals legally residing in Egypt only.
• Only IQOS Club members are eligible to participate in the club competition.
• This competition is intended for IQOS legal-age users only. Employees of Philip Morris Egypt, its affiliates, partners, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors are prohibited from entering the competition and are not eligible to participate.
• This competition is not open to pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
• Additional eligibility requirements may apply as specified by Philip Morris Misr in the competition announcement or related materials.
ELECTRIC DREAMS FOR LEGAL AGE USERS (IQOS USERS) -Competition Rules & Mechanics:
• The competition is set to begin on the 4th of May of 2026 and end on the 15th of June of 2026.
• The competition consists of 3 bi-weekly tasks that will be announced on social media, through IQOS official website, and through e-mail communication.
• Upon completion of each bi-weekly task, IQOS Club members will be eligible to enter a raffle for a chance to win. 20 winners will be selected for every bi-weekly task.
• Each eligible participant may enter the bi-weekly raffle only once per period, regardless of how many times they complete the tasks. Completing the same task more than once in each period does not increase a participant’s chances of winning.
• Every bi-weekly task completion account for 1 entry for the raffle of the mega dream prizes. Every additional completion of subsequent bi-weekly tasks accounts for an extra entry (maximum of 3 entries per IQOS Club member).
• Random raffle draws will be conducted to determine grand prize winners of the 6 dreams. For the 2 local trips, a total of 2 participants plus their companions will be selected. For the 4 global trips, a total of 14 participants will be chosen. Winners of Electric Dreams will be announced after the campaign is finalized. Winners will be selected randomly through a documented and auditable process.
• Winners from the bi-weekly tasks and the mega prize will be contacted by Philip Morris Misr customer care team to be redirected to the relevant touchpoint from where they can receive their prize.
• In case a selected winner could not be reached after 3 attempts from Philip Morris Misr’s customer care team, Philip Morris Misr is to decide whether a replacement should be selected. In this event, another participant will be selected following the same selection criteria as the original participant and will be subject to the same rules and regulations.
• No purchase of any product is required to participate or win the competition.
• Philip Morris Misr reserves the right to alter the terms of the competition or terminate the competition at any given time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice. To the extent permitted by law, Philip Morris Misr shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation.
• The prize is non-transferable for other prizes or cash alternatives; it must be taken as offered.
• Philip Morris Misr has the right to eliminate participants if a fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
Eligibility and Travel Requirements:
• Winners must possess a valid passport with sufficient validity as required by the destination country at the time of travel. Noting, travel is intended to take place from August onwards, subject to availability and confirmation of trip.
• Winners must be legally permitted to travel internationally and must not be subject to any legal, regulatory, or administrative restrictions that would prevent travel
• Winners are responsible for obtaining any required travel documents: visas, permits or supporting documentation - complying with applicable travel requirements. Any taxes or additional costs not expressly included are the responsibility of the winner. Failure to secure such documentation within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize without any liability to Philip Morris Misr. Accordingly, Philip Morris Misr has the right to replace them.
Data sharing and privacy:
• Participants will be asked to provide detailed and specific personal and contact information via Philip Morris Misr’s customer care team in the case of winning one of the prizes. Personal data will be processed for the purposes of administering the competition in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
• Philip Morris Misr retains the right to ask for proof of the participants’ national ID strictly for verification purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.
• All participants’ personal data collected falls under PMI data privacy notice (Consumer).
• By entering the competition, participants hereby confirm that all information shared is true, current, and complete.
• Philip Morris Misr reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and to cancel eligibility in case any of the shared information is missing and/or incorrect.
• Philip Morris Misr’s team may use any of the contact information provided to contact the participants. Likewise, they may use the household address provided to send prizes and other relevant documentation.
• Philip Morris Misr reserves the right to use the participants’ names through publication, distribution, transmission, display and exhibition, in both internal and external company material, including (but not limited to): corporate brochures, company’s website, social media channels, store visibility, in Egypt and other markets around the world. The company will use the images as set out under the consumer privacy notice (Consumer).
Force Majeure
Philip Morris Misr shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to fulfill its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to governmental actions, travel restrictions, event cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Philip Morris Misr reserves the right to cancel, modify, postpone or provide an alternative to any prize, subject to applicable law.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo.
