What do the LEDs on my IQOS 3 mean?

A white LED indicates that your IQOS 3 is performing one of multiple operations (such as charging or resetting), or that it is ready for use or fully charged.

A red light always indicates that there is an error on the device.

White lights during charging:
The status light is blinking white: IQOS 3 is charging.
The status light is solid white, blinks three times, and turns off: IQOS 3 is more than 75% charged.

Red lights on the pocket charger:
The lower charger light is blinking red: The device is being operated outside of the operating temperature range (between 0°C and 50°C). Please change to the right temperature range for operation.

Red light on the holder:
Holder status light is blinking red: Briefly press the power button on the holder. If the light is solid red, then the holder is not charged or is outside the operating temperature. If the light is blinking red, then the heating blade is defective or there is a malfunction on the holder.

If your device has a solid or blinking red LED, please reset your device, perform a firmware update with the IQOS app or launch the online-diagnostic tool.
