ONE GIFT VOUCHER

Terms & Conditions

 

I. GENERAL

1. The ONE Gift Voucher offer with details provided in Sections II and III below (“Offer”) is open to legal age users who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer) and above residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products (“Customer”). To qualify and be eligible for the Offer, the Customer should have one (1) linked IQOS device (i.e., IQOS 3 Multi or IQOS 2.4 Plus) in their IQOS.com account which was purchased from June 1, 2020.

2. The Offer can be availed thru IQOS.com, IQOS Coach and IQOS Official Stores (physical). IQOS Stores is operated by ActivAsia Inc. (or "AAI"). IQOS.com is owned by Philip Morris International and its affiliate in the Philippines, PMFTC Inc ("PMFTC"). The online store of IQOS.com is operated by AAI, and all orders are fulfilled by AAI, as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products sold in IQOS Stores and IQOS.com. Deliveries are carried out by AAI or by AAI’s authorized third-party delivery providers. This Offer is being carried out by AAI as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products.

3. The Offer period of the ONE Gift Voucher is from January 19, 2023 – February 28, 2023. Use of the One Gift Voucher or the Redemption period is valid 30 Calendar days upon receipt of the ONE Gift Voucher. PMFTC/AAI has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the Offer period if circumstances so warrant.

4. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Offer.

5. Customers using multiple IQOS.com accounts to participate in the Offer are disqualified. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Offer.

6. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Customer’s account due to suspicious, fraudulent or illegal activity.

7. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke these terms and conditions without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Offer will be announced accordingly.

9. By participating in the Offer, Customer confirms his/her consent to process his/her personal data provided as part of the Offer. Details of such processing are described in Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Consumer Privacy Notice found at https://www.pmiprivacy.com/en/consumer and AAI’s Data Privacy Consent Policy.

 

II. MECHANICS

1. Every Customer who has purchased their IQOS device (as indicated Section I.1) from January 1, 2020 is entitled to one (1) ONE Gift Voucher. 

2. The Offer is a one-time offer wherein Customers will receive through their registered email a Php500 ONE Gift Voucher which entitles a Customer to a Php500 discount when upgrading to an IQOS Original ONE device (also referred to as the One Gift Voucher).

3. During the upgrade transaction as part of the Offer, the Customer agrees & understands that the Offer requires that their old, used IQOS 3 Multi or IQOS 2.4 Plus needs to be surrendered. The surrendered IQOS device will form part of the Device Takeback Program (refer to the Device Take Back Program Terms & Conditions. The program is a recycling initiative that allows the Customer to dispose used IQOS devices responsibly. The recycling program will turn old IQOS devices into raw materials that will be converted into sustainable products.

4. The Customer agrees and understands that participation in the Offer requires verification of IQOS device ownership and the delinking of the surrendered IQOS device from the Customer’s IQOS.com account. Any evidence of fraud or irregularities disqualifies his/her eligibility to participate in the Offer.

5. The Customer cannot demand PMFTC and/or AAI for remuneration of the device being surrendered for the Offer.

6. The ONE Gift Voucher can only be used once for a purchase of an IQOS Original ONE device. The ONE Gift Voucher is non-transferrable. It cannot be exchange for cash. The ONE Gift Voucher cannot be transferred for payment of an IQOS device, HEETS pack/ream or any IQOS accessories.

7. On the start of the Offer period, eligible Customers will receive an email/sms providing the complete promo mechanics and the One Gift Voucher. Only Customers who have opted-in to receiving marketing communications will be able to receive the communications pertaining to the Offer.

8. Only one (1) ONE Gift Voucher will be sent to the Customer. Only one (1) ONE Gift Voucher can be used per Customer. Customers cannot request for their ONE Gift Voucher to be exchanged with a different type of voucher. The ONE Gift Voucher cannot be combined with other special offers, promotions or vouchers.

9. Customers can use the Php 500 ONE Gift Voucher in any of the following points-of-sale:

  • Official IQOS Stores (physical)
  • IQOS.com (online store)
  • IQOS Coach (face to face)

10. Redeeming the ONE Gift Voucher:

i. For IQOS.com transactions, the Customer must input the ONE Gift Voucher code in the promo section of the check-out page in IQOS.com.

ii. For IQOS Official Stores, the Customer must present the ONE Gift Voucher to the IQOS Sales Expert for use upon payment.

iii. For IQOS Coach, the IQOS Coach will input the promo code during the sale transaction.

11. The ONE Gift Voucher can be redeemed within 30 days of receipt thru their registered email, otherwise it is deemed forfeited. PMFTC/AAI has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the redemption period if circumstances so warrant.

12. For use of the ONE Gift Voucher in IQOS Official Stores or with an IQOS Coach, the Customer will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID before items can be purchased and/or delivered to the Customer. The following valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver's License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter's ID.

13. For transactions via IQOS.com, Customer will be subject to age verification process where he/she will be required to present a valid Government Issued ID before the Program offer can be claimed.

14. To facilitate the purchase and delivery from IQOS.com, Customer must present any of the following valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID.

15. In cases where Customer cannot accept the delivery, an authorized representative who is at least eighteen (18) years old and above can claim on behalf of the Customer provided the following documents are presented to the courier:

a) Valid government issued ID of representative for identity check and age verification

b) Copy of a valid government issued ID of Customer for identity check and age verification

c) Signed authorization letter stating that the Customer is authorizing the representative to receive the item/s and order reference number.

The courier will not be able to deliver the IQOS Original ONE device if any of the above-required documents are not presented.

16. For deliveries, the courier will communicate and coordinate details, with delivery attempt at a maximum of two (2) times. A third delivery attempt will be available in selected cities that offer same/next day delivery; and can be arranged with an additional delivery fee that will be communicated in advance by AAI/courier, and to be confirmed by the Customer. In the event of failure to receive the delivery for credit card or GCash transactions, normal refund process will be followed:

For credit card transactions:

For Credit Cards issued locally: Refund will take up to 10 working days but also subject to issuing bank lead times

For Credit Cards issued abroad: Refund will take up to 45 days, but also subject to issuing bank lead times

You may check the status of your refund with your issuing bank.

17. For GCash transactions, refund must be coursed through IQOS Customer Care team. The Customer shall call IQOS Customer Care team to trigger the refund process and will be able to credit back to the Customer’s GCash account real time.

18. During the Offer period, for orders using the ONE Gift Voucher that lead to failed transactions due to system limitations or technical issues not due to the fault of the Customer (e.g. order cancellation, failed payment, failed delivery, etc), Customers may request for a one-time replacement of the ONE Gift Voucher from IQOS Customer Care, subject to the following:

  • Review of the failed transaction (e.g. accidental order cancellation, unavailability of the Customer during delivery, etc)
  • Customer’s eligibility and compliance with the requirements under these Terms and Conditions.

If still eligible, IQOS Customer Care will send the replacement code for the ONE Gift Voucher to the Customer’s nominated email address as reflected in IQOS.com. It is the responsibility of the Customer to update his/her personal details in their IQOS.com account to ensure timely receipt of the replacement code. PMFTC shall not be liable for any failure of a Customer to redeem or use the code and will not refund the code due to non-receipt by the Customer of the replacement code, if sent to his/her registered email address.

III. OTHERS

1. The IQOS.com website may be subject to possible technical and system issues. We will provide the necessary notice to the Customers if such is the case.

2. All decisions of PMFTC and/or AAI and its agents in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.

3. Customers in the Offer agree and confirm the following:

  • that you are a legal-age smoker at least 18 years old or above as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer;
  • that you have read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein;
  • that you agree to follow the applicable mechanics of the Offer;
  • that you agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC and/or AAI, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Offer from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that you may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.
