IQOS Authorized Retailer Promo Terms and Conditions
I. GENERAL
a. Who are IQOS Authorized Retailers
IQOS Authorized Retailers are identified PMFTC Directly Serviced Points of Sale that can offer IQOS promotions to legal age consumers residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products (“Customers”).
b. The IQOS stores and online store of IQOS.com are operated by ActivAsia Inc. (or "AAI"). This Promo is being carried out by AAI as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products. The Promo will also be available at retailers who have been selected by PMFTC to be the “Participating Retailers” for this Promo. These retailers are retail (business-to-business) customers of the PMFTC Direct Selling and Distribution Team and are enrolled in the Appwards Digital Trade Engagement (DTE) platform. Deliveries shall be carried out by AAI or by AAI’s authorized third-party delivery providers.
c. Customers who use multiple IQOS.com or IQOS accounts to participate in the Promo will be disqualified. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Promo.
d. The Promo period is from October 2023 to December 31, 2023. PMFTC Inc. has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the Promo period if circumstances so warrant.
e. PMFTC reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke this Promo without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Promo will be announced accordingly.
f. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Customer’s IQOS Club, IQOS.com and or IQOS account due to suspicious, fraudulent, or illegal activity.

II. PROMO MECHANICS
a. IQOS Authorized Retailer shall conduct product and promo detailing/demonstration to Customers.
b. Qualified Customers shall be entitled to the following offers through IQOS Authorized Retailers.
i. Free Guided Trial;
ii. Lending Offer;
iii. Purchase Offer; and
iv. Starter kit
c. Guided Trial
i. Customers may avail of free guided trial in any IQOS Authorized Retailer.
ii. Guided Trial shall only be conducted physically in eligible store or locations where use of the IQOS device is allowed.
d. Lending Offer
i. Customers may use IQOS Originals One or BONDS by IQOS Trial Kit for a minimum of 24 hours to maximum of 14 days, with a minimum purchase requirement of one (1) HEETS stick at the prevailing Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of Php 7.00 or one (1) BLENDS stick at the prevailing Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of Php 5.00.
ii. The Lending Offer includes the free use of a IQOS Originals One or BONDS by IQOS from the date and time that the Trial Kit is received and until the agreed date and time of return to the IQOS Authorized Retailer (“Trial Period”) in accordance with the signed Lending Agreement.
iii. Each BONDS by IQOS Trial Kit includes the following:
• One (1) BONDS by IQOS;
• One (1) micro USB Charging Cable;
• One (1) Power Adaptor; and
• One (1) free BLENDS pack.
ii. Each IQOS Originals One Trial Kit includes the following:
• One (1) IQOS Originals One;
• One (1) micro USB Charging Cable;
• One (1) Power Adaptor; and
• One (1) free HEETS pack.
iii. To be eligible for the Lending Offer, Customers:
• Must be adult smokers 18 years old and above as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer;
• Must present a valid government-issued ID from the list below, for age and identity verification. Below is a list of accepted government-issued IDs:
a. Driver’s License
b. Passport
c. UMID / SSS ID
d. TIN Card
e. PhilHealth ID
f. Postal ID
g. Voter’s ID
h. Senior Citizen ID
• Must allow the Retailer to verify age and collect personal data (ie. Birthdate, Valid and Active mobile number or email address) for registration and account creation; and
• Must agree to undergo a short product demonstration upon registration.
iv. Customers who fail to pass the verification procedure (i.e. age non-eligibility) or who fail to provide the necessary documents shall be informed that they are not eligible to avail of the Promo.
v. At the end of the Trial Period, the Customer must return the same Trial Kit he/she received as part of the Promo to the retailer. All items must be the same device/unit issued at the beginning of the Trial Period and in good and working condition.
vi. Upon returning the above-listed items at the end of the Trial Period, the Customer must allow the retailer to inspect the items returned to confirm device authenticity and to check that it was returned in good and working condition.
vii. In case the Customer encounters technical or operating issues with the IQOS Originals One or BONDS by IQOS Device included in Trial Kits at any time during the Trial Period, the Customer must inform and return the device immediately to the retailer, who will then inspect the returned device. The device may be replaced, provided the Customer shall complete another Lending Offer which will apply for the remainder of the Trial Period, subject to the availability of a replacement device at the KAPPARTNER. The Offer cannot be combined with other IQOS Originals One or BONDS by IQOS promotions, unless otherwise stated.
e. Purchase Offer
i. Customer with no device linked to an existing account or a device purchase history (regardless of in IQOS Store, through IQOS coach, IQOS Field Sales Representatives or in IQOS.COM), are eligible to buy 1 IQOS Originals One device and get Php 600 IQOS Store voucher or 1 Bonds by IQOS device and get Php 250 IQOS Store voucher (“Purchase Offer”).
ii. A Customer can only receive one Php 600 and/or Php 250 IQOS Store voucher discount to be used solely for the purchase of his/her first Device Kit per product offer.
iii. In case of suspicious, illegal, or fraudulent activities with respect to the use of the discount code, PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Participant’s IQOS or IQOS.com account or cancel the transaction.
iv. The Customer cannot use the Php 600 or Php 250 IQOS Store voucher in combination with other promotions, special offers or vouchers, except for the starter kit.
v. The Php 600 or Php 250 IQOS Store voucher can only be used in full in a single transaction and is not transferable. Any amount not used cannot be exchanged for cash or another Php 600 or Php 250 IQOS Store voucher and will be automatically forfeited.
vi. PMFTC/AAI shall not be liable for any failure of a Customers to redeem or use any Php 600 or Php 250 IQOS Store voucher and will not refund such voucher due to among others, loss, damage, negligence, or mishandling on the part of the Customer.
vii. For orders using the Php 600 or Php 250 IQOS Store vouchers that lead to failed transactions (e.g. order cancellation, failed payment, failed delivery, etc), Customer may request for a one-time replacement IQOS Store voucher from IQOS Customer Care, subject to the following:
• Review of the failed transaction (e.g. accidental order cancellation, system issues, etc)
• Customer's eligibility and compliance with the requirements stated.
viii. The IQOS Store vouchers for Customers is not transferable and not convertible to cash.
ix. Issuance of IQOS Store vouchers is subject to possible delays due to operational, technical and system limitations. Customers will be advised beforehand if such is the case.
f. Starter Kit
i. Customer with no device linked to an existing account or a device purchase history (regardless of in IQOS Store, through IQOS coach, IQOS Field Sales Representatives or in IQOS.COM), are eligible to receive 3 Free packs of Blends (“Starter Kit Offer”).
ii. The Starter Kit Offer is only for the purchase of the Customer’s first IQOS Originals One or BONDS by IQOS device kit. Availing of the Starter Kit Deal is not mandatory. Customers may choose not to avail of the Starter Kit Offer even if eligible.
iii. The Starter Kit Offer is a one-time introductory offer of a starter kit consisting of IQOS Originals One or Bonds by IQOS and its respective consumables
• IQOS Originals One Starter Kit comes with 3 packs of HEETS (Amber, Blue, and Purple).
• BONDS by IQOS Starter Kit comes with 3 packs of BLENDS (Round Classics, Ice Fresh, and Cool Fresh)
• Variants may change subject to availability.
iv. The Starter Kit Deal may be combined with other promotions, special offers or vouchers for new or prospective IQOS users such as, but not limited to Refer-A-Friend Program, Barangay Intro Offer, Employee Referral Program, IQOS Authorized Retailer acquisition program etc. However, the Starter Kit Offer cannot be combined with the Trade-in Promotion.
v. The Starter Kit can be redeemed by the Customer by exchanging the IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER in authorized retailers.
vi. The IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER can only be used in full in a single transaction and is not transferable nor convertible to cash. Any amount not used cannot be exchanged for cash or another IQOS voucher and will be automatically forfeited.
vii. The IQOS Starter Kit VOUCHER can be redeemed within 3 days upon receipt of the voucher.
viii. PMFTC/AAI shall not be liable for any failure of a Customers to redeem or use any IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER, and will not refund such voucher due to among others, loss, negligence or mishandling on the part of the Customers.
ix. In cases of voucher non-receipt, Customer may request for a one-time replacement IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER from IQOS Customer Care, subject to the following:
• Review of the non-receipt; and
• Participant’s eligibility and compliance with the requirements stated.
x. If still eligible to use the IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER, IQOS Customer Care will send the replacement IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER to the Customer’s nominated email address/mobile number as reflected in IQOS.com. It is the responsibility of the Customer to update his/her personal details in their IQOS.com account to ensure timely receipt of the replacement IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER. PMFTC shall not be liable for any failure of a Customer to redeem or use the IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER and will not refund the IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER due to non-receipt by the Customer of the replacement IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER, if sent to his/her registered email address.
xi. Issuance of IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHERS are subject to possible delays due to operational, technical and system limitations. Customers will be advised beforehand if such is the case.
xii. PMFTC reserves the right to change the valuation of the IQOS STARTER KIT VOUCHER if circumstances warrant.
xiii. PMFTC and/or its authorized representative will verify the identity and age of each Customer. Customers who fail to pass the verification procedure (i.e. age non-eligibility) shall be informed that they are not eligible to avail of the Starter Kit Offer.

III. OTHERS
a. All decisions of PMFTC and/or its authorized representatives in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.
b. Customers availing of the Offer, Deal and/or Program agree and confirm the following:
i. that they are a legal-age smoker or user of nicotine-containing products, 18 years old or above as of the date of their participation in the Offer, Deal and/or Program;
ii. that they have read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein;
iii. that they agree to follow the applicable mechanics of the Offer, Deal and/or Program;
iv. that they agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Offer, Deal and/or Program from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that you may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.
v. that they are liable for the loss or damage or tampering of the IQOS Originals One or BONDS by IQOS Device Kit that they will use as part of the Offer, Deal and/or Program.
c. PMFTC will only shoulder final withholding taxes on prizes amounting to more than Php10,000 except as expressly provided herein. IQOS Authorized Retailers will not be liable to the Customer for any taxes, costs, liabilities, or expenses that may arise from this Offer, Deal and/or Program.
