BRGY. IQOS OFFER
Terms & Conditions
I. GENERAL
1. The BRGY IQOS OFFER (“Offer”) gives the opportunity to try or buy a BONDS by IQOS or an IQOS (if available) Device through different programs in general trade. The offer includes the following components: 1) Guided trial, 2) 48HR Lending Offer, and 3) Purchase offers – Buy with a friend, and Refer a friend. The Offer is open to adult smokers 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer) and above residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products, and only to adult customers of Participating Retailers who comply with all program registration requirements (“Customers”).
2. The Offer will be available at retailers who have been selected by PMFTC to be the “Participating Retailers” for this offer. These retailers are retail (business-to-business) customers of the PMFTC Direct Selling and Distribution Team and are enrolled in the Appwards Digital Trade Engagement (DTE) platform.
3. The Offer period is from April 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023, subject to extension at PMFTC’s sole discretion. PMFTC has the discretion to shorten or extend the Offer period if circumstances so warrant.
4. PMFTC reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Offer.
5. Customers who avail of the Offer allow PMFTC as well as Participating Retailers to process their personal data to, among others, create an IQOS account on their behalf. Details of such processing are described in Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Consumer Privacy Notice found at https://www.pmiprivacy.com/en/consumer.
6. PMFTC reserves the right to disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Offer.
7. PMFTC reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke this Offer without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, any order from the local government, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, epidemic pandemic or war. Any changes to the Offer mechanics will be announced accordingly.
8. This product is not risk free and provides nicotine, which is addictive. Only for use by adults 18 years old and above who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products. Please visit IQOS.com to find out more about Philip Morris International's Good Conversion Practices.
II. 48HR LENDING
1. The Offer inclusions such as duration of the trial period, type of device and purchase of BLENDS or HEETS™ requirements may differ depending on the location and operational capabilities of the Participating Retailer, and is subject to change at the discretion of AAI. The Offer to try a BONDS by IQOS or an IQOS (if available) Device Kit for free (i.e., no purchase requirement for the device) will have the following mode of offer:
IQOS 48 HOUR TRIAL – Customer may use BONDS by IQOS or IQOS (if available) Trial Kit for 48 hours, with a minimum purchase requirement of one (1) BLENDS or HEETS™ stick at the prevailing Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of Php5.00 and Php7.00, respectively.
IQOS ORIGINALS inclusion in the Offer is subject to availability.
2. The BRGY INTRO OFFER includes the free use of a BONDS by IQOS or IQOS (if available) Trial Kit from the date and time that the BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Trial Kit is received and until the agreed date and time of return of the BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Trial Kit to the Participating Retailer (“Trial Period”).
3. Each BONDS by IQOS or IQOS (where available) Trial Kit includes the following:
1. One (1) BONDS by IQOS or IQOS ORIGINALS ONE
2. One (1) micro USB Charging Cable
3. One (1) Power Adaptor
4. One (1) free BLENDS OR HEETS™ pack to be redeemed from the IQOS Field Sales Representative
4. The Offer can only be availed from the points-of-sale/stores who are identified as the Participating Retailers of the BRGY IQOS OFFER
5. To be eligible for the Offer, Customers:
1. Must be adult smokers 18 years old and above as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer
2. Must present a valid government-issued ID from the list below, for age and identity verification
3. Must allow the Participating Retailer and/or the IQOS Field Sales Representative to keep a digital copy of the valid government-issued ID
4. Must register a valid and active mobile number at the time of registration
5. Must allow the Participating Retailer and/or the IQOS Field Sales Representative to take his/her photo as part of the records/documentation of the Participating Retailer
6. Must agree to undergo a short product demonstration upon registration
6. Below is a list of accepted government-issued IDs:
1. Driver’s License, Passport, UMID / SSS ID, TIN Card, PhilHealth ID, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, Senior Citizen ID
7. The BRGY IQOS OFFER’s Trial Period shall commence upon completing the BRGY IQOS OFFER Agreement and upon receiving the BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Trial Kit at the Participating Retailer, and will end at the agreed time provided in the agreement, depending on the mode of Offer that the Customer chooses to avail of.
8. At the end of the Trial Period, the Customer must return the following (i.e., the same Trial Kit he/she received as part of the Offer) to the Participating Retailer:
1. BONDS by IQOS or IQOS ORIGINALS ONE
2. Micro USB Charging Cable
3. Power Adaptor
4. Device Case
9. All items must be the same device/unit issued at the beginning of the Trial Period and in good condition.
10. Upon returning the above-listed items at the end of the Trial Period, the Customer must allow the Participating Retailer and/or the IQOS Field Sales Representative to inspect the items returned to confirm device authenticity and to check that it was returned in good condition. After inspection, the Participating Retailer will provide the Customer with the Return Acknowledgment Form as provided in Annex A of these Terms and Conditions to confirm receipt of the items.
11. In case the Customer encounters technical or operating issues with the BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Device included in the BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Trial Kit at any time during the Trial Period, the Customer must inform the Participating Retailer and/or the IQOS Field Sales Representative immediately and return the device to the Participating Retailer who will then inspect the BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Device. The device may be replaced, provided the Customer will complete another BRGY INTRO OFFER Agreement which will apply for the remainder of the Trial Period, subject to the availability of a replacement device at the Participating Retailer.
12. The Offer cannot be combined with other BONDS by IQOS or IQOS promotions, unless otherwise stated.
13. Participating Retailer and/or the IQOS Field Sales Representative will verify the identity and age of each Customer. Customers who fail to pass the verification procedure (e.g. age non-eligibility) or who fail to provide the necessary documents shall be informed that they are not eligible to avail of the Offer.
III. Buy with a Friend/ Refer a Friend
1. The ‘Buy with a Friend & Refer a Friend’ portion of the offer gives the opportunity to purchase a BONDS by IQOS or an IQOS (if available) Device through varying introductory promos.
2. Definition of terms:
1. Referrer – a Participant that is an existing IQOS Club member who is at least 18 years old or older and residing in the Philippines, with a successfully registered BONDS by IQOS or IQOS device, and who invites a Referee for a Guided Trial at a Participating Retailer
2. Referee – an adult smoker or nicotine product user who is at least 18 years old or older and residing in the Philippines, is not yet an IQOS user, who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco products or nicotine-containing products, and purchases their first BONDS by IQOS Device Kit while being physically accompanied by the Referrer at the Participating Retailer for a Guided Trial. In addition, a Referral should not have a pre-existing IQOS.com or IQOS account and should have no purchase history in IQOS.com, IQOS Stores or IQOS Coaches
3. The mechanics of the program will be as follows:

4. The following guidelines must be adhered to upon execution of the ‘Buy with a friend’ program:
1. Customers must physically visit the Participating Retailer manned by an IQOS Field Sales Representative in a group (minimum 2).
2. Everyone in the group must be LAS 18+ residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products.
3. Everyone in the group must undergo physical Guided Trial with an IQOS Field Sales Representative.
4. Customers must not have a device linked to an existing account or a device purchase history (regardless of in IQOS Store, through IQOS coach, IQOS Field Sales Representatives or in IQOS.COM)
5. Purchase of a BONDS by IQOS, or IQOS ORIGINALS ONE must be done on the same day as the Physical Guided Trial with an IQOS Field Sales Representative
5. The following guidelines must be adhered to upon execution of the ‘Refer a friend’ program:
1. Both the Referrer and the Referee must be physically present to be eligible of the awards.
2. The Referrer’s eligibility shall be validated before the purchase of a BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Originals One Device Kit. Based on the information/credentials provided by the Referrer, the IQOS Field Sales Representatives will check if he/she has an existing IQOS.com account and is a member of the IQOS Club.
3. The Referee can only receive one discount to be used solely for the purchase of his/her first device kit whether it is BONDS by IQOS or IQOS Originals One.
4. The Referrer will be rewarded with 3 packs of BLENDS or HEETS™ of the same variant (pack subject to Referrer’s device, variant subject to availability) for every successful purchase of a Referral that he physically accompanies for a Guided Trial at the Participating Retailer.
5. The Referrer’s 3 packs will only be given upon completion of purchase transaction of the Referee. The Referrer will receive the reward via IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER sent through SMS. The Referrer can redeem the 3 free packs in Participating Retailers with an IQOS Activation Booth by showing their IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER to the Participating Retailer.
6. Starting September 18, 2023 until October 2, 2023, BONDS by IQOS Referrers are rewarded with 2 additional packs of BLENDS of the same variant for every successful referral. Offer is available only in Participating Retailers (General Trade).
7. The Offer can only be availed in participating retailers in LMIC with an IQOS Activation Booth.
8. A Referral can only receive one IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER to be used solely for the purchase of his/her first Device Kit. In case of suspicious, illegal or fraudulent activities with respect to the use of the discount code, PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Participant’s IQOS or IQOS.com account or cancel the transaction.
9. The IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER can be redeemed within 3 days upon receipt of the voucher
10. The Referral cannot use the IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER in combination with other promotions, special offers or vouchers, except for the starter kit.
11. The IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER can only be used in full in a single transaction and is not transferable. Any amount not used cannot be exchanged for cash or another IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER and will be automatically forfeited.
12. PMFTC/AAI shall not be liable for any failure of a Customers to redeem or use any IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER, and will not refund such voucher due to among others, loss, negligence or mishandling on the part of the Customers
13. For orders using the IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHERs that lead to failed transactions (e.g. voucher non-receipt, order cancellation, failed payment, failed delivery, etc), Participants may request for a one-time replacement IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER from IQOS Customer Care, subject to the following:
1. Review of the failed transaction (e.g. voucher non-receipt, accidental order cancellation, system issues, etc)
2. Participant’s eligibility and compliance with the requirements stated
3. If still eligible to use the Php250 IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER, IQOS Customer Care will send the replacement IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER to the Participant’s nominated email address/mobile number as reflected in IQOS.com. It is the responsibility of the Participant to update his/her personal details in their IQOS.com account to ensure timely receipt of the replacement IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER. PMFTC shall not be liable for any failure of a Participant to redeem or use the IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER and will not refund the IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER due to non-receipt by the Participant of the replacement IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER, if sent to his/her registered email address.
14. The IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHERs for Customers is not transferable and not convertible to cash.
15. PMFTC reserves the right to change the valuation of the IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHER if circumstances warrant.
16. Issuance of IQOS REFERRAL VOUCHERs are subject to possible delays due to operational, technical and system limitations. Customers will be advised beforehand if such is the case.
1. The Referral will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID before the discounted BONDS by IQOS Device Kit can be purchased. The following valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID.
IV. SUKI Card
1. The IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS (“Offer”) with details provided below is open to legal age smokers or users of other nicotine-containing products who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation) and above residing in the Philippines (“Customer”), and who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products.
2. The IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS can be redeemed at identified retailers who have been selected by PMFTC to be the “participating retailers” and are officially selling BLENDS/HEETS and/or has a BONDS by IQOS / IQOS activation booths found at the retailer’s store location. These retailers are customers of the PMFTC Direct Selling & Distribution Team. This Offer is being carried out by Activ Asia Inc, (“AAI”), an authorized distributor of PMFTC products.
3. Every Customer who has purchased their BONDS by IQOS /IQOS device at participating retailers’ BONDS by IQOS /IQOS activation booth located at the participating retailer’s location is entitled to receive IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS. The IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS will be sent to the Customer’s registered mobile via SMS.
4. The Customer shall receive a total of six (6) IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS in the span of 90 days from the date of purchase of the BONDS by IQOS/IQOS device:
5th Day from device purchase: BUY 1 PACK, GET 1 PACK IQOS SUKI VOUCHER for BLENDS / HEETS packs
15th Day from device purchase: BUY 1 PACK, GET 1 PACK IQOS SUKI VOUCHER for BLENDS / HEETS packs
30th Day from device purchase: Gets one (1) free BLENDS / HEETS pack IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS
60th Day from device purchase: Gets one (1) free BLENDS / HEETS pack IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS
90th Day from device purchase: Gets one (1) free BLENDS / HEETS pack IQOS SUKI VOUCHERS
Customers that purchased a BONDS by IQOS device can only redeem the IQOS SUKI VOUCHER for BLENDS packs while customers that purchased an IQOS device can only redeem the IQOS SUKI VOUCHER for HEETS packs.
5. The IQOS SUKI VOUCHER can be redeemed within 7 days upon receipt of the voucher
6. PMFTC/AAI has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the IQOS SUKI VOUCHER offer period if circumstances so warrant.
7. The IQOS SUKI VOUCHER can only be used in a single transaction. Non-transferable. IQOS SUKI VOUCHER cannot be convertible to cash and cannot be applied to the purchase of a BONDS by IQOS / IQOS device, accessories.
8. PMFTC/AAI shall not be liable for any failure of a Customers to redeem or use any IQOS SUKI VOUCHER, and will not refund such voucher due to among others, loss, negligence or mishandling on the part of the Customers
9. For orders using the IQOS SUKI VOUCHER that lead to failed transactions (e.g. voucher non-receipt, etc), Participants may request for a one-time replacement IQOS SUKI VOUCHER from IQOS Customer Care, subject to the following:
1. Review of the failed transaction (e.g. voucher non-receipt, system issues, etc)
2. Participant’s eligibility and compliance with the requirements stated
3. If still eligible to use the IQOS Suki voucher, IQOS Customer Care will send the replacement IQOS Suki voucher to the Participant’s nominated email address/mobile number as reflected in IQOS.com. It is the responsibility of the Participant to update his/her personal details in their IQOS.com account to ensure timely receipt of the replacement IQOS Suki voucher. PMFTC shall not be liable for any failure of a Participant to redeem or use the IQOS Suki voucher and will not refund the IQOS Suki voucher due to non-receipt by the Participant of the replacement IQOS Suki voucher, if sent to his/her registered email address.
10. PMFTC reserves the right to change the valuation of the IQOS SUKI VOUCHER if circumstances warrant.
11. During the use of the IQOS SUKI VOUCHER and any purchase transaction related to it, the Customer will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID during engagement. The following valid Government Issued IDs are acceptable as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver's License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter's ID.
V. OTHERS
1. All decisions of PMFTC and/or its authorized representatives in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.
2. Customers availing of the Offer, Deal and/or Program agree and confirm the following:
1. that they are a legal-age smoker or user of nicotine-containing products, 18 years old or above as of the date of their participation in the Offer, Deal and/or Program;
2. that they have read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein;
3. that they agree to follow the applicable mechanics of the Offer, Deal and/or Program;
4. that they agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Offer, Deal and/or Program from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that you may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.
5. that they are liable for the loss or damage or tampering of the BONDS by IQOS or an IQOS Device Kit you will use as part of the Offer, Deal and/or Program.
3. AAI will only shoulder final withholding taxes on prizes amounting to more than Php10,000 except as expressly provided herein. AAI will not be liable to the Participants for any taxes, costs, liabilities or expenses that may arise from this Offer, Deal and/or Program.
