Why and/or when does my IQOS device vibrate?

Your IQOS vibrates to indicate the device’s current status for usage.

Models IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS 3, and IQOS 3 Multi:
  • One vibration at the start of heating (as soon as you press the on/off button on the holder to initiate heating)
  • Two vibrations when the device is ready for use.
  • Again two vibrations when the HEETS tobacco stick is nearly finished (around 30 seconds or 2 puffs before the end).
Model IQOS 2.4 Plus:
  • One vibration at the start of heating (as soon as you press the on/off button on the holder to initiate heating). The device is ready for use once the LED is solid white.
You can change the corresponding settings in the IQOS app. The app also offers many further advantages (e.g. updating the firmware on your IQOS to the latest version). To use the IQOS app, simply log in to your IQOS user profile on IQOS.com, go to "My device(s)", select the respective device and click first on "View details" and then on "Device settings".
