Why is the Vapor (Aerosol) Produced by My IQOS ILUMA i^TM Device is Lower?

There are several factors why the vapor (aerosol) produced by your IQOS ILUMA i^TM tobacco heating device is lower, which are:

1. Incorrect tobacco stick

The IQOS ILUMA i^TM device is designed to only work with TEREA^TM tobacco sticks. If you use any other product, the experience duration may be impacted or may not start.​ 

2. You start the experience straight after Pause Mode is resumed (applicable for IQOS ILUMA i Prime^TM and IQOS ILUMA i^TM)

After you resume the Pause, the device will need approximately 20 sec to pre-heat again before you can continue the experience.​ Ensure you allow the pre-heating of the TEREA^TM stick, and you do not pull it out or move during the experience.​

3. Broken stick in the device

Check the heating chamber for broken sticks or debris. Avoid inserting sharp objects in the heating chamber as this may cause damage.

4. Intensive puffing

If you puff too frequently without pause between the puffs, vapor (aerosol) may not have enough time to form.​ We advise to leave a bit of time between the puffs. This will allow the device to properly heat the stick and generate vapor (aerosol).​ 

5. Dirt or objects in the heating chamber 

Check the heating chamber for broken sticks or other debris or objects. Do not insert any sharp objects in the heating chamber to avoid damaging your device.
