That’s because the new SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ has no blade in the holder. Instead, a metal heating element sits inside the SMARTCORE STICKS™. You will not be able to enjoy SMARTCORE STICKS™ with IQOS Originals blade technology.

Yes, you can. SMARTCORE STICKS™ are compatible with any type of IQOS ILUMA. But don’t use them with previous IQOS generations, because you may damage your device.

Swallowed SMARTCORE STICKS™ can cause serious injury to internal organs due to the presence of this metal heating element. If SMARTCORE STICKS™ are swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
