IQOS ILUMA is the revolutionary line that heats tobacco using a new technology, the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™. This is an innovative induction system in which TEREA tobacco sticks, specially designed for IQOS ILUMA, already have a built-in heating element, which allows you to heat tobacco without a blade, unlike previous IQOS models.

The cutting-edge technology of the new IQOS ILUMA brings a new experience of use and a taste of tobacco never tried before, without tobacco residues and therefore without the need to clean it after use*.

With IQOS ILUMA, tobacco is heated through the new SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™. The absence of heating element in the device and the innovative design allow you to easily insert the tobacco sticks inside the device. The metal heating element is already inside the new TEREA tobacco sticks.

This innovation can offer a simpler, higher-level taste experience, without tobacco residue and without the need for cleaning.

Superior reliability

IQOS ILUMA offers the true taste of tobacco. However, unlike previous IQOS models, the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ by IQOS ILUMA heats by induction thanks to a metal element present inside the TEREA tobacco sticks. The ILUMA IQOS line therefore does not have a blade inside the device and is more reliable when compared to previous IQOS models**.

How the new SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology from IQOS ILUMA works?

The new IQOS ILUMA is the first of the IQOS models to introduce the induction heating technology. Thanks to the presence of the heating element directly inside the tobacco stick, the blade is no longer present in the device and, above all, the device does not require cleaning. The innovative SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ heating technology allows you to heat tobacco from inside the new TEREA tobacco sticks. These new tobacco sticks can only be used with IQOS ILUMA PRIME, IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA ONE devices.

IQOS ILUMA offers a cleaner way to heat tobacco from the inside, without burning it, to deliver the true taste of tobacco without tobacco residue and, like previous IQOS devices, without smoke and ash.
