Your IQOS is blinking red.

What does the blinking red light on your pocket charger mean?

If the strip light of your IQOS ORIGINALS pocket charger is blinking red, this indicates a warning about the battery. You may need to charge your device.

If, after fully charging, the IQOS charger red light is still blinking, perform a reset by following these steps: 

  1. Press the pocket charger button for 10 continuous seconds. 
  2. The battery status light will fade out, flash twice, and then progressively fade in to confirm the reset.

What does the blinking red light on your holder mean?

When the light on your IQOS ORIGINALS holder is blinking red, it means that there is a device error. There are three primary causes:

  • The IQOS holder's red light appears to give you a warning about its charge. This is to ensure an optimal charge for your device. Be sure to always keep the contacts between your holder and pocket charger clean.
    Dirty contact points will impede your device's charging speed, causing the red light on IQOS holder's to blink.
  • Your heating blade might be broken.
    Check your heating blade and if it is broken, launch the Online Diagnostic Tool.
  • Your device might need a reset. Here’s how you can perform a reset: 
    Put the holder into the pocket charger.
    Press the pocket charger button for 10 continuous seconds.
    The battery status light will fade out, flash twice, and then progressively fade in to confirm the reset.
