Try IQOS Terms & Conditions

1.       Requirements

1.1.    These Program Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply and govern your participation in "Try IQOS" program of IQOS CLUB Indonesia ("Program"). You are required to read and understand the Terms and Conditions set forth and regulate your legal relationship with PT Persada Makmur Indonesia ("We") as the owner of the Program.

1.2.    The Program is only for: (i) adult smokers and/or other users of tobacco products over the age of 18, (ii) living in Jakarta and surrounding areas or Bali by presenting an ID card/driver's license and/or ID card, or other valid and legally valid certificate of the Republic of Indonesia, and (iii) having a valid credit card with sufficient credit restrictions to make payment. ("Participant").

1.3.    IQOS is a better alternative to enjoy of real tobacco with exposure to harmful chemicals that are up to 95% lower than cigarette smoke. ("Device")

1.4.    The program provides the opportunity to use IQOS for a period of 14 calendar days before purchase, to experience of using IQOS and HEETS before participants decide to purchase an IQOS starter kit and join IQOS CLUB Indonesia.

The program can be started after participants register and participate in guided trial and pay by credit card according to the following package options:

IQOS Tester Device

a.       IQOS 2.4 +

10 pack HEETS Mix Selection with amount of Rp 300.000 (three hundred thousand rupiah) and deposit Rp 540.000 (five hundred and forty thousand rupiah).

b.       IQOS 3 DUOS

10 pack HEETS Mix Selection with amount of Rp 300.000 (three hundred thousand rupiah) and deposit Rp 900.000 (nine hundred thousand rupiah).

IQOS Tester devices used in the program have been cleaned and quarantined for 3 (three) days according to hygiene protocol standards. HEETS, which have been paid and used during the Program period, are non-refundable.

The deposit is refundable once the Program is complete and the Participant has returned the IQOS device in good condition and functioning properly.

1.5     Program registration can be done through our Customer Service Agent at 1500-975 (Monday – Sunday, 08:00 – 22:00 WIB). Program registration can be done by IQOS Expert too.

1.6     By signing this Program Terms and Conditions, you agree and submit to the program terms and conditions that have been determined and applicable in the jurisdiction of the Republic of Indonesia.

1.7     IQOS and HEETS provided in this Program may only be used and consumed personally by participants, not for transfer and/or transferred to others, for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.

1.8     In the registration process, Participants are required to fill in the necessary data or information properly, correctly, and completely (such as name, place and date of birth, smoker status, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery address, and credit card number). If participants are unable to provide the necessary important data or information, then We cannot continue your registration. If you are proven to provide inappropriate data or information, We reserve the right to refuse your participation in the Program.

 

2.       Services

2.1.    On your desire to switch from cigarettes to IQOS and get the experience of using  IQOS and HEETS before you decide to purchase an IQOS starter kit and join IQOS CLUB Indonesia, We will provide you with a package based on the payment value selected at point 1.4 consisting of charger, holder, AC power adapter, USB cable, cleaning device, manual book, HEETS Mix Selection and other materials that support you during your participation in the Program.

2.2.    The Package can be accepted after the Participant undergoes a Guided Trial session, has been enrolled in the Program, and completes the payment. The package can be used for a period of 14 calendar days starting one day after program enrollment.

2.3.    By enrolling in the Program, the status of participants is not automatically a member of IQOS CLUB Indonesia and has not gained access to the website IQOS.COM. Therefore, if there are additional purchases of HEETS during the period of the Program Participants can contact Our Customer Service Agent at 1500-975 (Monday – Sunday, 08:00 – 22:00 WIB).

2.4.    After the Program ends and you decide to join IQOS CLUB Indonesia, you must return the IQOS Tester Device that has been used during the “Try IQOS” Program and the deposit will be released if the device is still in good condition and functioning. Then you make a purchase of a new IQOS device according to the applicable product purchase mechanism. IQOS Tester devices are not for sale.

After the Program ends and you decide not to join IQOS CLUB Indonesia, you must return the IQOS Tester device that has been used during the IQOS TRY Program and the deposit will be waived if the device is still in good condition and functioning.

If you do not return your IQOS device within 10 calendar days after the Program ends, you agree to purchase the IQOS tester device you used in the Program. Therefore, the deposit deposited during the registration process will be processed as payment.

2.5.    As validation and guarantee of payment made using your credit card, information related to the credit card used in paying HEETS and deposit will be deposited and processed by the payment service provider CIMB Niaga. Your credit card information will be stored for 18 months.

 

3.       Liability

You agree:

3.1.    Take all necessary precautions to keep IQOS in top condition and functioning properly.

3.2.    Using IQOS for personal consumption properly refers to the information provided in the Guided Trial as well as the information in the user manual.

3.3.    Not abusing the Programs and services provided.

3.4.    Do not transfer IQOS devices and packages received in the Program either in whole or in part.

3.5.    Pay Us the deposit of IQOS devices used in the Program, in the event of damage or defective conditions resulting from the following:

(i) Damage caused by changing, modifying, adding color paint/stickers to the charger and IQOS holder.

(ii) Damage caused by altering, modifying or removing serial numbers on chargers and/or holders.

(iii) IQOS devices that have been disassembled and/or modified without automation from PT Persada Makmur Indonesia and/or caused by

(iv) Loss of device.

3.6.    Comply with the Program Terms and Conditions and applicable laws in the Republic of Indonesia.

3.7.    Return the IQOS device if the Program ends and you decide not to purchase an IQOS device, as per the Terms and Conditions set out in point 2.

3.8.    Understand that any successful transaction cannot be cancelled.

4. Call Centers

    If you experience any problems during the Program, you are asked to contact our Customer Service Agent immediately at 1500-975 (Monday – Sunday, 08:00 – 22:00 WIB). If it is medically recommended that you discontinue the use of IQOS then you are required to cease your participation in the Program and immediately return the package (IQOS and HEETS devices) to the same IQOS Booth at the time of registration.
